Gingerbread Waffles

*These are perfect for Christmas morning, but I like to make them all year round. They are heavenly!

½ cup oil
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup molasses
2 eggs
1 cup milk or buttermilk
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
½ teaspoon salt

Mix all ingredients together until almost smooth. Pour onto a hot waffle iron sprayed with non-stick spray. Serve with whipped cream or maple syrup.
